  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oil, and salt. Mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. Add water to the mixture gradually, kneading the dough until it is smooth and pliable. Cover and set aside for 20 minutes.
  3. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  4. Add the onions and green chili to the pan and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  5. Add the ginger and garlic paste to the pan and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  6. Add the frozen peas to the pan and cook for a minute.
  7. Add the mashed potatoes, salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, and red chili powder to the pan. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Turn off the heat and add the chopped cilantro to the mixture. Let it cool down.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  10. Roll out the dough and cut it into circles.
  11. Place a spoonful of the filling on one side of the circle and fold the other side over to make a triangle. Seal the edges by pressing them together.
  12. Place the samosas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  13. Bake the samosas for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  14. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
